DESCRIPTION:Colloquium on light–matter interaction investigated with sof
 t-X-ray spectroscopy and coherent scattering\, organized on the occasion 
 of Prof. Stefan Eisebitt’s scientific contributions\n\nThis symposium br
 ings together researchers working at the forefront of soft X-ray spectrosc
 opy and coherent scattering to discuss recent advances and future directio
 ns in the field. Topics will span X-ray holography and lensless imaging\, 
 ultrafast magnetization dynamics\, nonlinear X-ray physics\, and laborator
 y-scale soft X-ray sources — a landscape of methods and discoveries clos
 ely intertwined with the scientific work of Stefan Eisebitt. The program r
 eflects the breadth of a research field that has grown enormously over the
  past three decades\, shaped by contributions from many of the scientists 
 gathered here.\nThe symposium takes place on Friday\, 3 July 2026\, at the
  Max Born Institute in Berlin-Adlershof. Information on travel and hotels
